Will & Jess booked me after meeting at the Wedding Expo. When I did their engagement shoot I discovered that Will was serious guy who did not like smiling. That said he is a nice guy and in fact a very happy person. He, like a lot of us, just does not like the way he looks in photos. I get it! I don't like the way I look in photos when I smile. I made a deal with him, as long as he acted normal I would not try make him smile. I don't think fake smiles do us any good and as a wedding and portrait photographer I like to capture the essence of people, what makes them, them. I did not have to try make him smile, Jess did that all by being her stunning self.
Will and Jess got ready at Hotel Realm. They then went down to Lennox Gardens for a First Look and private vows. We took the time to do the bridal party photos at Lennox and then it was on to Gold Creek Chapel for the ceremony. Gold Creek Chapel is such a beautiful location. Will and Jess had a lot of family photo's taken at the Chapel and as a result we were chased out of the chapel grounds while doing shots of the both of them. Lesson learned, make the most of the Chapel ground in future then maybe do the family pics later. The reception took place at The Manor at Gold Creek. Will arguably had the longest speech I have ever heard at a wedding, however he kept everyone, myself included, captivated
